Carmen Monserrate brings over two decades of experience in operations, people leadership, and organizational growth to LatinoLEAD. Most recently Vice President of People and Operations at NewPublica, Carmen spent eight years helping the firm scale across its private, government, and nonprofit client work. Her career also spans director-level roles at Xerox Corporation, prior franchise ownership, and long-standing service to nonprofit organizations.

She holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, and Mathematics from Penn State, where her commitment to Latine leadership development first took root—a passion that has carried through her corporate career and community work today. A proud Puerto Rican, Carmen recharges through travel, time in nature, and long rides on her bike, and cherishes every chance to be back on the island with family. She is thrilled to bring her full self to LatinoLEAD's next chapter.
