What an amazing time we had at the Minnesota Museum of American Art yesterday with all the powerful and inspirational Latinas and Latinxs who made it. LatinActivista brought together powerful and inspirational Latinas and Latinx, demonstrating the essential role of art as an outlet for activism.
Special thanks to the Women's Foundation and El Burrito Mercado for their support. Our co-host, Mujeres Unidas Latinas MN, played a vital role in organizing and promoting the event. We also want to thank Zamara Cuyún for her inspiring talk and for sharing her work with our community. Last night's event was a powerful demonstration of the strength and resilience of our Latinx community, and we look forward to continuing to empower each other as we work towards a brighter future for all.
