Our 1,300+ network and partners have wide-ranging backgrounds and beliefs, but stand unified behind the goal of improving the quality of life for Latinx across the state.

SNAPSHOT OF THE WORK:


We are looking for a data-driven, organizing, and activating enthusiast!


LatinoLEAD has a network of approximately 1,300+ leaders and organizations that need meaningful engagement and growth. We currently have volunteer action teams who are supported by our staff to meet, organize and activate. We are working to build four teams around leadership, education, achievement and narrative-building and greater Minnesota.


There is a ton of opportunity to help shape and mold how we think about organizing these teams, how we use data, ways we engage and mobilize our network state-wide.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

The Communication Engagement Manager will curate a system of data and engagement for our organization that is nimble, responsive, and proactive. We need someone who can help rebuild profiles on our network leaders, create programming that is based in good organizing, and activate our community of leaders to deliver systemic change.


  • Creatively build a connection between LatinoLEAD and it’s leaders

  • Develop and implement a leader recruitment plan

  • Develop and implement a volunteer management program and data system.

  • Engage and communicate with existing and potential LatinoLEADers.

  • Developing and owning action team meetings, logistics, and follow through.

  • Invests time into understanding our community, including actively engaging the network we serve and nurturing active partnered connections.

  • Manage events for our leaders and volunteers and assist with other events as needed.

You will spend most of your time in the community. You will participate in a variety of committees, events, and individual meetings with our network leaders statewide.

HAVE THESE SKILLS…

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. We need to meet the needs of our community and someone who can navigate multiple languages would be highly valued.

  • Skills in organizing and mobilizing volunteers.

  • Knowledge of systems that track member engagement.

  • Can mine data to find trends and patterns.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or extensive experience in this field

  • Strong growth mindset

  • Two to four years of related experience in similar/relevant role

  • Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, Hootsuite, email marketing, and software database platforms.


and EXPERIENCES….

  • Experience using digital platforms to mobilize network leaders

  • Experience utilizing mass texting platforms

  • Experience with relationship building and making hard asks of people

  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector (preferred)

Status: Full Time, Salaried

Reports to: Associate Director

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (health benefits will be available)

Location: LatinoLEAD prioritizes the safety of its employees and therefore, our staff has the flexibility to work remotely. We hoping to return to the office in September. Offices are located at 797 East 7th Street (Suite #151), Saint Paul, MN 55106.
